Blackened Shadows
Verse 1:
The distant voices howling within the night.
Are out of reach and out of sight.
The screaming of memories past.
Take me back to feel the blast.
They screech the sounds of tortured souls.
Whispering things of long ago.
Hear the moans fading in the dark.
Where thoughts of grief find their way to lurk.

The spirits enslaved in their regret.
Forever in time to be undead.
A trap set inside their own mind.
For mistakes they've made to make them blind.

Verse 2:
The smell of loathing lingers on.
And with the wind once more they're gone.
Never to live inside the light.
They stare, they stalk, they breathe the night.
Moving slowly with the rain.
Gloom in fog so thick awaits.
They remain in the damp chill.
Being punished for how they feel.

Chorus:
Through the gates of sadness.
In their eyes will live.
Flames to burn Forever.
Along with them.
Shame and taunting madness.
Haunting, Hollow Filth.
Disgusts flows on the path that their choices built.
